		<description><![CDATA[I saw Ms. Becker-Black&#039;s work at one of the studios in the Everett Lofts on First Thursday earlier this year. I was blown away by how alive all of the images seemed to be. I see a great deal of art that&#039;s either cliched or simply uninteresting, so to see work that grabs you instantly and leaves such an impression as hers is a rare treat. I&#039;m looking forward to seeing more.

Bravo to her on winning the scholarship. She&#039;s a rare talent that deserves more recognition.]]></description>
